मीडिया रिपोर्ट्सनुसार, पाकिस्तानला ताबडतोब पैशाची गरज आहे कारण त्याचा परकीय चलन साठा आधीच USD 10.2 बिलियनवर घसरला आहे. जो त्याच्या आयातीपासून दोन महिन्यांत संपू शकतो. उल्लेखनीय म्हणजे, जुलै 2021 ते एप्रिल 2022 दरम्यान पाकिस्तानने अनेक वित्तपुरवठा स्त्रोतांकडून USD 13.033 अब्ज डॉलरचे विदेशी कर्ज घेतले आहे. तसेच IMF कडून 1.188 ट्रिलियन रुपयांचे कर्ज घेतले आहे. Free fall of Pakistan’s economy continues. Its rupee hit a historic low on May 26, 2022, of 202.01 against the US dollar. This happened due to International Monetary Fund delaying the revival of the stalled USD 6 billion programme under External Financing Facility for Pakistan.
According media reports, Pakistan immediately needs money as its forex reserves have already fallen to USD 10.2 billion, which could end within two months of its imports. Notably, Pakistan has incurred a foreign debt of USD 13.033 billion from multiple financing sources between July-April 2021-22. It also has taken Rs 1.188 trillion loans from IMF.
